My 25 y.o. gelding started acting like he was not feeling well. He is out 24/7 and gets forage only for meals. He would walk slowly up for his hay twice a day, and had stopped nickering when I came out to feed him. He is prone to ulcers and years ago, I had him on a proprietary herbal blend by my homeopathic vet that allowed me to ride and show him pain free. After the first day on it, he seemed more perky and started nickering again when I would come out and feed. He LOVES the supplement in its pelleted form!! He has been on the product for two weeks, so it is a work in progress, but he is slowly becoming more alert and is grazing and eating very well.
