Bug Zap Naturally Garlic for Horses contains:
Garlic: It’s rich in natural sulfur, and can help in reducing internal parasites. It helps to cleanse the blood and, when excreted, will help with repelling external pests, such as biting flies or ticks. Helps with digestion and circulation. Garlic is a natural antibiotic and has anti-inflammatory properties; helps support a healthy immune system; aids with respiration & lung infections to help maintain a clear respiratory system.
Another attribute of garlic is its ability to improve digestion due to supporting the development of natural bacterial flora. This is key to a good digestive system, which in-turn is important to a strong immune system. For added parasite control use Herba Worm Naturally.
Diatomaceous Earth: Helps to prevent breeding of larva in the manure and to control internal and external parasites.
Apple Cider Vinegar: As a natural insect control, ACV causes thiamine (vitamin B1) to be excreted through the skin, repelling flies and mosquitoes. Optimum levels of B vitamins (particularly B1) in the body seem to discourage bugs in addition to helping to improve circulation. Balances the horse PH thus helping to defer colic. Stimulates proper digestion. Assists in helping to control internal and external parasites. More info on the benefits of ACV.
Flaxseed Oil: Can help reduce inflammation, and as a result relieve symptoms associated with sweet itch and other skin conditions. It can also alleviate symptoms of allergies and can help regulate thyroid function . High in Omega-3 fatty acids. Promotes a healthy, glossy coat and boosts the immune system. Also supports good blood circulation.

This stuff really works. Had one horse that lots of ticks were always on him. Started using this and haven’t found a tick on him In months.
I ran out and didn’t reorder because I thought the horse flies weren’t bad and cooler weather was coming. Well guess what, they came back. I just got the horses started back on this. I swear by this and the horses love it! They’ll eat it out of our hands.

The product itself is so far amazing. My horse loves it and I’ve only been feeding it to my boy for a few days and I’ve noticed a difference in the amount of flies around him are much less. I can only imagine what the result will be after more time using it. I would recommend to friends.

Bug Zap is great for fly control! It works wonders keeping the flies away! And I use it year round because of the health benefits I have experienced. Even when other horses in the barn get sick my horse stays well. None of those nasty respiratory problems that are prevalent in boarding barns. I have always used some form of garlic for horses but this has been working out great!

I’ve been buying Bug Zap for years. I regularly give it to our horse for fly and gnat control. It helps a lot! I ran out once and couldn’t believe the difference. Within a few days of resuming there was a significant reduction in the amount of insects. I highly recommend it!

During tick season, it was nothing for me to spend 1 to 1-1/2 hours every night pulling ticks off four horses. I put my horses on the Bug Zap Garlic from March thru late October. The Garlic was 99% effective in reducing ticks and also keeping certain types of flies off them.
